personal

I enjoy playing and watching tennis, basketball, soccer, and skiing. I’m a fan of sports analytics and have a side project studying performance under pressure with point-by-point tennis data.

I also like playing soul-like games, such as Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring, Sekiro, and Ghost of Tsushima. Although they are all challenging and frustrating to play, it is very satisfying when I beat them. It resembles the process of doing research.

Before grad school, I lived in a church in South Korea and went on a mission trip to Africa. I attend the Aletheia Church in Cambridge.
